I put that to the test as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I contacted customer service on three different occasions using the live chat feature, asking questions about their money transfer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I heard back from a real person in 2-3 minutes, and they answered my queries in all these instances. Remember?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take a deep dive to find out if \u00a31 is the only fee charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our guide for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparism.com\/send-money-from-uae-to-india\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2876\" data-lasso-id=\"568\">UAE to India money transfers<\/a>, I calculated the actual fees Paysend charges for different amounts ranging from 1,000 AED  to 10,000 AED (to INR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In reality (including the conversion fees and the exchange rate mark-up), it ranged from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparism.com\/send-money-from-uae-to-india\/#tab-sending1000aed\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.comparism.com\/send-money-from-uae-to-india\/#tab-sending1000aed\" rel=\"noopener\" data-lasso-id=\"569\">0.96% to 1.76%<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s within the acceptable range to be a competitive offering and <strong>very low<\/strong> when you compare it to banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>But<\/strong>, a bit more transparency on the exchange rate cut would be great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full marks for showing the total amount to be received and the fees charged upfront so there are no surprises later but calculating what is being actually charged shouldn&#8217;t be left to the customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did find this transparency on comments from one of the support team members on Trustpilot though:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"582\" height=\"319\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comparism.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Paysend-exchange-rates-analysis.png\" alt=\"Does Paysend use mid-market exchange rates?
